Soz chairs coordination committee meeting

JAMMU, MARCH12:- The INC-NC Coordination Committee met today under the Chairmanship of Prof. Saif-ud- Din Soz, MP here at Government Guest House Canal Road Jammu.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Tara Chand, Finance Minister, Mr. A.R. Rather, Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar, former Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma and Member Legislative Assembly Ch. Mohammad Ramzan were present in the meeting.

The discussion on various subjects was held in cordial atmosphere. There was unanimity of views on the subjects that came up for discussion. The subjects like institution of Vigilance Commission, strengthening of Consumer Protection Mechanism, filling up of vacancies in Human Rights Commission, Backward Classes Commission and Public Service Commission came up for focused attention.

The Committee will take some more time to identify suitable persons to take up responsibilities in various institutions.

     The Coordination Committee is going to meet again within 10 to 15 days time.
