Concluding function of Urs-i-Dastigeer RA held at Sara-i-Pain, Maharaj Bazar
  SRINAGAR, MARCH 09: Thousands of devotees from across the Valley thronged the shrine of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani RA at Sara-i-Pain, Maharaj Bazar, Amira Kadal today to offer the special prayers at Friday following the Urs-i-Dastigeer Sahib RA.
  Immediately after Friday prayers thousands of devotees had a deedar of Moi Mubarak of Hazrath Peer Dastigeer Sahib RA. Sajadah Nisheen, Aastan-i-Aliya, Allam Qadri displayed the holy relic and Moulana Ghulam Rasool Hami prayed for the welfare of the people. The Chairman Idar-e-Auqaf, Ghousia, Chowdhary Mehraj-ud-Din Boja, Director Information, Khawaja Farooq Ahmed Renzushah, religious scholars and devotees of Dastigeer Sahib RA were present on the occasion.
  Mr. Boja expressed his gratitude to all departments including Police, Power Development, SMC, Health etc for facilitating the Urs-i-Dastigeer RA.
He expressed special thanks to the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Samoon for providing all facilities to the devotees during Urs period.
