Agriculture Department checks Fertilizer Godowns of District Budgam.

Srinagar, Mar 9 (KNS): To ensure distribution of quality chemical fertilizers and eradicate menace of black marketing, Chief Agriculture Officer Budgam checked various godowns of Whole sale and retail Dealers of chemical Fertilizers. The Chief Agriculture Officer Budgam warned that anybody found indulging in sale of spurious fertilizers would be dealt under the Fertilizer Control Order 1985. He directed all the whole sale and retail dealers to keep rate list pasted at prominent places to avoid black marketing. He also interacted with farmers and sought their cooperation in stopping false trade. He also requested farmer’s to purchase various chemical fertilizers as per  M. R. P printed on bags and receive the cash receipt of the products from the concerned dealers.
  Meanwhile, their where sufficient stocks of Urea, DAP and MOP to meet requirement of farming community of District Budgam.
