Last Day of India’s First Music & Adventure Winter Fiesta- Gulmarg Winter Festival 2012

    Breaking set boundaries to promote Peace, Prosperity and Culture!

The 3 day full moon snowy weekend Extravaganza- The Gulmarg Winter Festival 2012, organized by the innovative Soul Curators & Synapses Adventure, supported by J&K Tourism, culminated beautifully with enthusiasts thrilled witnessing Music & Adventure amidst wonderful people, rejuvenating themselves with walks and rides amid  ecstatic scenic beauty, savoring sumptuous early morning breakfasts,  meals healthy teas from Kashmiri Food fiesta, shopping souvenirs from Glumarg Flea Bazaar, appreciating and giving critics on most unique films and their concepts and some of the most creative displays by photographers across India.

Organizers earnest endeavor to promote cultural exchange between India-Kashmir by breaking all set boundaries and propelling Indian Music, Kashmir Folklore, Craftsmanship and more to the highest pinnacles, seemed to be coming alive as the audience were caught enjoying kashmiri food, buying finest crafted pieces displayed by the artisans at flea bazaar and together singing, swirling and dancing to the tunes by best of North, East, West & South.
The sets were opened by Local artists producing finest tunes of Kashmiri Folk Music, followed by Drift-a Bebop and Contemporary Jazz trio playing an eclectic mix and fusion of classical Jazz, joining in laterHighway 61, an Indian Sufi Rock band, setting the stage on fire Lagori- with its melodic, intense, fun and energetic numbers, Tritha- belting out soul stirring Indian Classical and experimental music leaving no stone unturned!

Kashmiri Bollywood singer Saim Bhat grooved audience with his performance.


3 Nights , 4 days, best of the best Music, Adventure, Folklore, Films, Photography, Food and much more…… while contributing towards nature to keep it all clean and green and yes all this for a beautiful cause..one can barely think of in an event like this- Prosperity, Brotherhood and a cultural exchange within our country.

This was the most memorable and meaningful fiesta- The Gulmarg Winter Festival by Soul Curators & Synapses Adventure, who are set to embark on their other journey at a new place, with same fervor and more vigor, bringing oodles of excitement for the ones who love to EXPLORE!!!
