Urs Dastgeer ^(RA) celebrated with utmost devotion and reverence

            SRINAGAR, MARCH 05: The Urs Dastgeer ^(RA) sahib was celebrated today with utmost devotion and reverence across the valley. The night long prayer meetings were organised in all shrines in which special prayers were organised for the peace and prosperity of the state.

            In this regard the grand function was organised in Khanyar Srinagar in which thousands of devotees participated in night long prayers. The chief patron, Minhaj-ul-Islam delivered sermon on this occasion.

            Similar function was held at Sarai Bala in which thousands of devotees participated in night long prayers.

            The Urs Dastgeer ^(RA) was also celebrated in Aham Sharief Bandipora, Shopian, Khankah, Faizpanah Tral, Kaaba Marg where special prayers were offered and religious scholars highlighted the teachings of Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jeelani ^(RA) and urged the people to follow the teachings of this great spiritual saint.
