Scheduled to take place during the full moon Weekend, March 9-11, 2012, this festival is organized by Soul Curators & Synapses Adventures with Support of Jammu & Kashmir Tourism. In an attempt to encourge the growing Peace & Progress amongst all by providing one common platform to local artists, craftsmen and the folklore blending beautifully with some of the best bands, photographers, artists, film makers and tourists all over the world and encouraging all to keep it all clean and green this one of its kind festival in Gulmarg is all set to carve a niche for itself! GWG 2012 is a NO DRUG policy festival.

As a pre-cursor to this 3 day Music & Adventure extravaganza, the organizers of G.W.F. (Gulmarg Winter Festival) will host one of its kind interactive workshops for all tour operators in the name of Café Terra Travellers & Organizers Meet on 8^th March 2012 in Gulamrg, starting from Morning 11 A.M to 4:00 P.M on various topics such as:

• Presentation on how “Gulmarg Winter Festival” an event based on boosting Art, Culture, Adventure and Music is a boon to boost tourism in Gulmarg.
• Workshop on how to boost business through Social Media.
