Badharwah girl brings pride to India
Wins Gold Medal in Asian School Chess Championship under-7 category Arushi receives cash award from CM
            JAMMU, MARCH 15 – A Badharwah girl Arushi Kotwal bringing laurels to India and the State by winning two Gold Medals in under-7 age category of Asian School Chess Championship in both team and individual events, today received the cash award cheque from Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here.  
            The girl student of 2nd primary hailing from Chinta village of Badharwah area in Doda district of Jammu province, participated in under-7 girls category of Asian School Chess Championship held at Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi from 6th to 23rd December, 2011 and won the gold medals in both individual and team events.
            To encourage the sports talent, the Chief Minister today gave her a cash award of Rs. 50,000 and handed over the cheque to the girl when she met him here.
            Congratulating Arushi for bringing pride to the Country and the State, Omar Abdullah wished her success in all spheres of life and sports.
