Scholars, Ulemas participate in Muslim Personal Law Board meeting at Jammu

          JAMMU, MARCH 6- An extra-ordinary convention of all J&K Muslim Personal Law Board was held at Channi Rama today under the chairmanship of Mufti-Azam J&K Moulana Mufti Mohammad Bashir-ud-Din Sahib.

The convention was attended by the delegates drawn from all the districts of the State.

As per constitution of the Board, Mufti Azam of the State, Moulana Mufti Mohammad Bashir-ud-Din Sahib will continue to be the President of the Board. However, the dignitaries, who were nominated for different posts of the Board include Vice President Mufti Mohammad Nasir-ul-Islam, Vice Mufti Azam J&K Vice President II Moulana Prof. Syed Mohammad Tyub Kamli, Vice President Haji Abdul Majid Sahib Jammu, Vice President Syeed Mohammad Indrabi, Vice President Moulana Sharief Ilhaq Bukhari and Moulavi Mohammad Noorani Naqshbandi,-I, General secretary Qazi Mohammad Amin, General Secretary II Moulana Mohammad Yaseen Karmani, Chief Organizer,  Secretary Administration Ghulam Ahmad Ayaz, Secretary Finance Ishfaq Ahmad Qadri and Chief Advisor Kh. Farooq Ahmed Renzushah. The members of working committee include Kh. Ghulam Ahmad Qureshi, Raja Nayeem Khan, Dr. G. M. Shah, Haji Abdul Gani Khan, Peer Afaaq Ahmad, Javid Ahmad Jan, Dr. Abdul Waheed, Moulvi Syed Latif Ahmad Shah, Advocate Mir Syed Ghulam Nabi, Advocate Shakeel Ahmad Zahgeer, Advocate Asif Mirza, Advocate Ghulam Ahmad Dar, Advocate Abdul Gani Chogli, Advocate Abdul Rehman Dar, Sanwar, Advocate Iqbal Hakeem, Salamu=ud-Din Bajad, Sajad Ahmad Shawl.

The dignitaries who were elected on the occasion include President Jammu province Mufti Nasir Ahmad Qadri, District President Rajouri, Dr. Mufti Abdul Rashid Qadri Vice President Rajouri Moulana GhulamMohi-ud-Din Misbahi District President Jammu Moulana Farooq Ahmad, Vice President Moulana Zakir Hussain, District President Poonch Moulana Syed Basharat Hussain, Vice President Mufti Ayub Sahib, General Secretary Moulana Mohammad Farooq Misbahi, District President Udhampur Ch. Siraj-ud-Din, Vice President Advocate Mohammad Shafi, District President Reasi, Mohammad Sarvar Advocate, Vice President Moulana Abdul Hameed District President Ramban, Alhaj Mohammad Tariq Parray, Vice President Kari Ali Hassan District President Kathua, Kari Faqir Mohammad, District President Kishtwar Shahid Malik,  Vice President Hafiz Liyaqat District President Doda Moulana Mohammad Shafi, Vice President Haji Umar Din, District President Samba Ch. Farooq Renzushah Sahib, Dr. Mufti Abdul Rashid Qadri Rajouri, Moulana Mohammad Ramzan Gundowa, Moulana Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Misbahi Rajouri, Qari Ali Hussain Naqashbandi Ramban, Contractor Noor Mohammad Reasi, Mohammad Fareed Samba, Mohammad Shah Nawaz Samba, Malik Shahid Kishtwar, Hafiz Abdul Sabir Sahib Rajouri, Mohammad Mushtaq Mughal Sahib Ramban, Maqbool Ahmad Narwal Jammu, Ali Akbar Razvi Jammu, Mohammad Rafeeq Raza Niami Poonch, Muzaffar Hussain Razvi Jammu, Moulana Zakir Hussain Naqashbandi Jammu, Haji Mohammad Shafi Jammu, Syed Manzoor Ahmad Shah Srinagar, Ghulam Hassan Niami Srinagar, Mohammad Tariq Parrey Ramban, Haji Abdul Majid Jammu, Mohammad Farooq Qaddri Jammu, Mufti Nasir Ahmad Qadri, and Moulana Noorani Sahib. 

Light was thrown in the meeting on the great contribution of great Awlia Kirams and Sufi Saints in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Mufti Azam while addressing the meeting advised the young generation to take pains in understanding the philosophy and moral teachings of great sufi’s and Awlia Kirams.

Chief Advisor Kh. Farooq Renzushah highlighted the contribution of Hazrat Bulbul Shah(RA), Hazrat Shah-i-Hamdan (RA) and Hazrat Sheikh-ul-Aalam(RA) and other great saints.
