Shah detained near Sumbal
Srinagar, Mar 9 (VOS): Senior separatist leader, Shabir Ahmad Shah was Friday detained near Sumbal in Bandipora when he was on way to Watergam Rafiabad to address a public rally.
Shah staged a dharna along with his supports on highway at Sumbal before he was taken away by the police.
Meanwhile, Freedom Party spokesman in a statement to VOS, condemned the arrest. “It is unfortunate that the so-called democratic government has always been stopping leaders like shah from reaching to people.”
