Students rally flaged
off by DC Baramulla
BARAMULLA, MARCH 06: The
Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Bashir Ahmad Bhat today flagged off a student’s
rally from Dak Bungalow Baramulla in which 350 students from different zones
participated.
The officers
from PIB, Education Sakhshar, Bharat Mission, Social Welfare and Information
Department were present on the occasion.
Speaking on
the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla said that 23rd Bharat
Nirman Public Information Campaign which started from March 05, 2012 at Dak
Bungalow Baramulla aimed to provide awareness among the general masses to aware
them about the flagship programme and seek feedback from them about the progress
achieved in their areas, he exhorted the general public to benefit from the
welfare schemes launched by the Government.
The rally
went around different markets by holding banners, play cards with slogans
written on various topics to aware the general public about Education For all,
Prevention of Environment, Saving of water resources, Mass Plantation Campaign
and Ban on Child Labour.
The rally
reached at Dak Bungalow Baramulla where speakers highlighted the Public
Information Campaign.
The officer
of Public Information Bureau presented vote of thanks.
