Govt. committed to provide basic needs to people: Mir
            SRINAGAR, MARCH 18:-Minister for Agriculture, Mr. Ghulam Hassan Mir has said that government is committed to provide adequate basic needs of the people at their doorstep. He said in this regard government has already taken numerous initiatives to achieve this goal.
            The Minister said this while interacting with a deputation from Singpora, Pattan of district Baramulla this morning at official residence here today.
            Mr. Mir asked the deputation to cooperate with the administration in developmental works as the support of the people is pivotal for making the state a model state of the country. He said that the ambitious projects taken by the government in this regard would be completed in a prescribed time. He said that directions in this regard has already been given to the executing agencies for speed up the work adding that funds for these projects are available round the year.
            During the interaction the deputation put forth charter of demands of their area which includes augmentation of water supply schemes, up-gradation of Education, Health, Power and Road Communication sector at the earliest.
            The Minister assured the deputation that all these issues would be taken with concerned Ministries to redress these grievances at the earliest. He hoped that people of the other areas would also put forth their demands in front of the government adding that government is always on the doorstep of the people to redress their grievances.
