Army organises tour for children
Srinagar, Mar 6 (VOS): Army organised an educational and motivational tour of 18 students and two teachers from remote areas of Kupwara to Srinagar.
According to a defence communiqué, the tour was flagged off from Kalaruch in Kupwara district on Tuesday. “The tour was so planned to give an opportunity to gain a first hand insight into the grandeur and beauty of one of the world famous tourist destination. Children visited ‘IBADAT-E-SAHADAT’ Museum alongwith Chashmeshahi, Pari Mahal, Hazrat Bal Dargah and also enjoyed the Shikara Ride at Dal Lake at Srinagar,” it said.
