Prominent personalities of Shehar-e-Khas joined PDP
Srinagar, Mar 9 (VOS): About 38 prominent personalities and workers of National Conference including from Bachidarwaza, Bhaudin Sahib and Maqdoom sahib area of Khanyar, Shehar-e-Khas joined Peoples Democratic Party today
A statement from PDP said that Farooq Ahmed Khan, Sajad Ahmed, Mushtaq Ahmed Bhat, Ghulam Nabi Mir, Showkat Ahmed Wani, Tariq Ahmed Sheikh joined the party. Zonal President Khanyar Showkat Hafiz and PDP leader Sheikh Firdous Ahmed were  also present and spoke on the occasion.
Welcoming them in the party fold secretary coordination PDP Abdul Hameed Kosheen said that only PDP and its leadership has the vision for the development of the state, as it had proved in its brief period of government in which all the regions of the state were treated equally on economic, and developmental fronts. “Present government has failed to do so.”
Holding the present regime led by NC responsible for developmental deficit in the state in general and Srinagar in particular Kosheen alleged that the major initiatives taken by the previous PDP- Congress government have been altogether abandoned by this government.
Speaking on the occasion the new entrants said that they were impressed by the visionary leadership of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti and their vision of self rule  for the development of the state.
