Farmers awareness camp held at Baghati-Kanipora

            SRINAGAR, MARCH 06:            For promotion of Agriculture on modern scientific lines & boosting up the productivity and production per unit area, the department of Agriculture is organizing “Farmer’s Awareness Camps” from various Agro-climatic areas. One such Farmer’s Awareness Camp under micro management was organized by the Department of Agriculture at Baghati Kanipora District Budgam.

            On this occasion, Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer Chadoora, Reyaz Ahmad advised farmers to adopt modern high tech-Agriculture to boost Agriculture production of various crops. He advised the farmers to take the benefits of various schemes launched by the department & cooperate with field extension functionaries in implementing all the programmes for making the state self sufficient in various food crops, pulses & oil seeds.

            Besides, Sarpanchs, Panchs, large number of farmers, officers & other field functionaries attend the function.

            Participating farmers gave responded overwhelmingly and interacted with the experts on various issues related to adoption of scientific techniques in Agriculture and allied sectors. At the conclusion of the function 28 polyfilms with Hybrid Vegetable seed kits were distributed among Panchayat Halqa for raising vegetable seedling.
