War condemns killing of Bandipora Youth
Srinagar, July 27 (VOS): People's Political Party (PPP), Chairman, Hilal Ahmad War condemned the killing of 19 year old boy, Hilal Ahmad Dar, who was killed by Army a few days back.
“The cold blooded murder of Bandipora youth is highly condemnable act in the eyes of civilized world”, a statement from the party said.
War termed the killings of Kashmir youth, a well thought out new genocide policy of Indian Security Forces in Kashmir. “The gruesome killing of the young boy of Aloosa Bandipora, of North Kashmir by the Indian Army in a stage managed encounter is a glaring example of Indian Genocide Policy in Kashmir.  Under the new strategy and a policy framed by Home Ministry of India, the genocide carried out by Indian Occupational Forces under the instructions of Home Ministry, young boys , the fourth generation of Kashmir problem are targeted purposefully to deter the new  generation of Kashmir to take the responsibilities of freedom movement”, reads the statement.
While paying rich tributes to slain youth Hilal Ahmad Dar, PPP Chief demanded that the perpetrators should be brought to book without any delay. He further said that Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) and other draconian laws have given license to men in Khaki to kill innocent Kashmiri youth like animals.
“By creating war situation, they cannot bypass or kill Kashmir Problem. They have but to concede the right of self-determination of the people of Kashmir sooner or later. They cannot escape from this issue. It is better and wiser to concede the right of self-determination as early as possible”, the statement added.

Engineer leads protest against Bandipora incident
Srinagar, July 27 (VOS): Hundreds of people led by independent MLA Langate Er Rashid took to streets in Handwara today against the recent Bandipora incident in which a 27 year old innocent youth namely Hilal Ahmad Dar was allegedly killed by troopers of 27 RR.
The procession passed through several markets of Handwara town raising slogans demanding that the culprits be brought to book.
All sorts of vehicular traffic had to go to halt for about an hour as a result of precession. The protesters later on staged a sit in in front of police station Handwara. Talking on the occasion Er Rashid said that it seems as if Kashmir is a law less island where security forces have been given license and free hand to kill innocent Kashmiris at their will.
He said that the statement of GOC on killing that the incident needs no inquiry speaks about the high volume of arrogance that has developed among the security forces during last 20 years. He said “if claims of the security agencies that there are now only a few militants present in the state, are believed to be true, then what is the logic of keeping seven lakh troopers to fight them and arm them with the dirty AFSPA”.
MLA questioned that if violence hit states like Andhera, Jarkhand, Manipore, Bangal and Assam etc do not need AFSPA to deal with the violence and militancy why is Jammu and Kashmir the exception. He said that there is a vicious circle in New Delhi who love Kashmir but hate Kashmiris and they want Kashmiris to surrender at all costs for raising voice to achieve their genuine political aspirations. He said that this all is being done to hold the Kashmiris at the barrel of the gun which is otherwise an internationally recognized dispute and India can not run away from the historic realties any more. Er. Rashid asked Omer Abdullah regime to show some commitment and courage and arrest the culprits involved in shoot out incidents at Zachaldara, Bandipora and Ashtingoo. He reminded Omer Abdullah of his hallow and cheap slogans regarding revocation of AFSPA, demilitarization of troops and restoration of autonomy and said that govt has lost moral strength and public support to fight people like Geelani on the political front.
